Reverend Dennis J. Nelson, D. B. S., is a Christian biblical counselor, author, missionary, ordained minister, chaplain, business owner, and author. The ministry of the Great Story operates under the covering of the local church and the Mission River Association. As a church Counselor, Dennis specializes in marriage issues for those experiencing trials in life and those who need deeper healing from God's refreshing waters. He lives in Georgia with his wife Ruth and their son David is off to college, and daughter Hannah is working in marketing. As we minister in Christ's mercy and truth, may we walk together on God's Highway of Holiness that is only found by living "In Christ!"

Laura Schmid, Director, currently is the SVP of Sales and Revenue for Revel Communities/The Wolff Companies.  She was previously the VP of Sales and Marketing for Brookdale Senior Living, overseeing these activities in 18 states with over $1.5 billion in revenue.

Laura is married to George Schmid, the CEO of the Schmid Group, LLC that manages National and International Insurance/Warranty programs and Risk Management consulting.  George is also the CEO of Progressive Artist Management managing and promoting musical artists, actors, dancers, comedians, models, hosts and various novelty acts worldwide.  They have been married 24 years and live in Laguna Niguel, CA

Dr. Karen Schogel (MD), Director physician Schogel-Fardo Family Medicine and Peter Schogel, Director, is President and founder of Blue Key Property Group. They have been married for twenty-eight years and have two adult children.  Dr. Karen Schogel is a Board-Certified Internist with the American Board of Internal Medicine.   Peter Schogel has experience in realestate, health management, health information systems, and consulting and management positions with with Ernst & Young, Cerner Corp. and Butler Health System.

Jim Read, Secretary/Treasurer & Leslie Read, Director have been married over 20 years, have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.  They have been active members and volunteers at Christ Fellowship Church building the body of Christ in South Florida; they serve in various ministries from stewardship to discipleship.  (Leslie also served on the praise team.) Jim is a children's leader for Bible Study Fellowship International (BSF); Leslie uses BSF materials & her vocal abilities to minister to memory-challenged mature adults and their caregivers in a group setting and one-on-one. Jim & Leslie are Broker Associates at Keller Williams Realty Jupiter and work as a united team in commercial and residential property sales.  Jim uses his business experience to mentor other men and Leslie is a designated Seniors Real Estate Specialist, helping seniors through the transition process.  Jim has over 30 years combined experience and education in mortgage lending, banking and real estate.  He holds a MA in Education from University of FL and has completed several courses in Apologetics at Biola University.  Leslie holds a BA in Communications from Northern Illinois University and a Graduate Certificate in Geriatric Care Management from University of Florida.
