Reverend Dennis J. Nelson D.B.S., Director, is a Biblical Counselor, Ordained Minister, Chaplain, and Author. Pastor Nelson has a Doctorate in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling and an MA from Trinity Theological Seminary and an MBA from Metropolitan State University. He has authored three books: Praying the Heavenlies through Prayer, Fasting, and the Word, the men’s devotional Changing God’s Way by Breaking the Chains of Sin and the companion Bible study and workbook, Changing God’s Way.
He and his wife Ruth Nelson have two children and reside in Frankfort, Illinois. Ruth is President of the Tuthill Pump Group and had the opportunity to live and work in Shanghai PRC, with her husband and children.
Laura Schmid, Director, currently is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Brookdale Senior Living, overseeing 271 communities in 11 states and over $1 Billion in revenue. Prior to Brookdale Senior Living, she was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Emeritus Senior Living, overseeing 64 communities across 9 states.
Laura is married to George Schmid, the CEO of the Schmid Group that manages National and International Insurance & Warranty programs. They specialize in Alarm Security, Special Events and Material Handling Insurance. George and Laura have been married 19 years and live in Laguna Niguel, CA.
Pastor Bob Zonts, Director, has 16 years of corporate/business experience and almost 16 years of experience in Christian ministry. Previous experience includes serving as a diagnostic sales specialist for Cardinal Healthcare (the specific division formerly part of Allegiance Healthcare/Baxter Healthcare/American Hospital Supply Corporation), and as an entrepreneur (one of the founders and Vice President of Cornerstone Enterprises, Inc.). Bob had the privilege of serving as one of the pastors at North Way Christian Community in Wexford, Pennsylvania, and since July 2007, Bob is honored to be serving as one of the pastors at Grace Community Church in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. He and his wife Cindy have one adult child.
Dr. Karen Schogel (MD), Director physician Schogel-Fardo Family Medicine and Peter Schogel, Director, is President and founder of Blue Key Property Group. They have been married for twenty-eight years and have two adult children. Dr. Karen Schogel is a Board-Certified Internist with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Peter Schogel has experience in realestate, health management, health information systems, and consulting and management positions with with Ernst & Young, Cerner Corp. and Butler Health System.

Jim Read, Secretary/Treasurer & Leslie Read, Director has over 30 years combined experience and education in mortgage lending, banking and real estate. He holds a MA in Education from University of FL and has completed several courses in Apologetics at Biola University. Leslie holds a BA in Communications from Northern Illinois University and a Graduate Certificate in Geriatric Care Management from University of Florida.
Ken & his wife Carol have been married for over 30 years and have two children and three grandchildren. He has a Master's (Th.M) and Doctoral (Th.D) degree in Pastoral Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary and is ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance. He has served as a Pastor and Executive Director for over seventeen years after a successful career at Ford Motor Company.
Prior to coming to Faith Dialogue in Celebration Florida, Ken was an Executive Pastor and Senior Director of Ministry Operations at Christ Fellowship Church and lived in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for seven years.
Prior to Christ Fellowship, Ken was the Campus Pastor at Life.Church in Hendersonville TN. It's this involvement with Life.Church that sparked the opportunity to partner with Life.Church as a network church, utilizing their video and other resources for Church services at Windsor at Celebration. A gifted communicator and teacher, Ken prefers to spend more time one-on-one with the people of Windsor at Celebration and serves as both the Pastor of the church as well as Chaplain to all the residents, regardless of their faith tradition and practices.
